Kineton: a Società Benefit

Kineton was founded with a clear vision: to innovate responsibly, creating value not only for business but also for people and the environment. Our corporate philosophy is based on the belief that technology and progress should be tools for improving society. This is why we have chosen to become a Benefit Corporation. This status formalizes and showcases our commitment to generating a positive and lasting impact on the community, people, and the ecosystem in which we operate.

Being a Benefit Corporation means integrating environmental and social sustainability goals into our business model, alongside profit, with the responsibility to contribute to collective well-being. This approach translates into concrete choices, from adopting transparent and inclusive governance practices to promoting a fair and stimulating work environment and developing societal initiatives.

Kineton has a long-standing commitment to respecting and protecting the individual and the community, evident in its people-centred culture and business model, which prioritizes innovation to improve human life.

The company has always embraced an approach that values employee well-being, continuous training, and the creation of a fair and inclusive work environment. In addition, we actively support social and cultural initiatives, contributing to the development of the community in which we operate.

We believe in the value of collaboration and invest in initiatives that encourage dialogue between companies, institutions, and local communities by establishing our Centro Studi. Our commitment goes beyond business strategies, reflected in tangible actions that improve the quality of life of individuals and promote sustainable development.

Initiatives for the Community

Kineton is deeply rooted in the social context in which it operates and believes that innovation should be a driver of not only economic but also human and collective growth. The company has initiated a series of collaborations with cultural and social organizations operating in the area to create concrete opportunities for inclusion, training, and development.

Kineton’s goal is to give back value to the community by investing in projects that promote access to culture and technology, with particular attention to young people and vulnerable groups in society. With theatre as a tool for expression and digital technology as a lever for education, the company helps create a more dynamic and participatory social fabric.

Through partnerships with organizations such as Figli in Famiglia and NEST, Kineton supports educational and artistic initiatives that promote the personal and professional growth of the next generations.

Figli in Famiglia: Technology, Sports, and Inclusion

The collaboration with Figli in Famiglia has resulted in educational paths that combine creativity, technology, and sports to offer opportunities to young people from challenging backgrounds.

Oltre la Meta – Sports as a Vehicle for Inclusion

In collaboration with Amatori Napoli Rugby and Figli in Famiglia, Kineton supports the “Oltre la Meta” project. This initiative returns sports to its most authentic values: loyalty, sharing, and solidarity. This initiative allows numerous young people from the San Giovanni a Teduccio neighbourhood to discover and practice rugby, offering them a positive and formative alternative in a context often marked by social challenges. “Oltre la Meta” is a tangible example of sports providing growth opportunities, transmitting fundamental values and fostering a sense of community. The goal is to allow them to participate in training sessions with the Naples rugby team, promoting unity and social redemption through sports. The project has involved more than twenty young people, with Kineton providing practical support by funding participation in training sessions, equipment, and transportation for participants. Some young people were selected for official sporting competitions and are now part of the Amatori Napoli rugby team.

Kineton’s commitment to this project also materialized in the production of a short film directed by Sergio Scoppetta and supervised by Oreste Di Tota, which tells the meaning and impact of the initiative on the lives of the young participants.

Gaming Course – Technology as a Tool for Growth

In 2023, in collaboration with the partner association Figli in Famiglia, Kineton launched an innovative knowledge transfer project in the digital world aimed at young people in the area. The initiative, initially a pilot experiment, offered dedicated training on two current topics:

  • Ethical use of social media – to help young people develop greater awareness of using digital platforms.
  • Gaming and video game development – to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of game design and production.

The first edition of the course involved five young people who had the opportunity to explore the behind-the-scenes world of video games and its ethical and professional implications. The enthusiasm and active participation of the young participants encouraged Kineton to consider future editions of the project, aiming to expand it and make it a recurring training event in the coming years.

Chi tene’ o mare – Art as a Bridge Between Cultures

In 2025, Kineton renewed its social commitment by supporting the “Chi tene ‘o mare” project, inspired by the famous song by Pino Daniele. The initiative aims to create a connection between different forms of artistic expression, using art as a tool to tell stories of migration, identity, and the search for peace.

The sea, the symbolic protagonist of the project, is represented as a bond between peoples and cultures, with particular attention to communities along the Mediterranean coasts. The project aims to highlight the affinities between different cultures through music, theatre, painting, and dance workshops, showing how meeting diverse traditions and influences drives growth and mutual enrichment.

Starting from Southern Italy, the project explores the evolution of maritime civilizations and how the sea has influenced customs, traditions, and artistic languages throughout history. Its message is clear: diversity is not a barrier but an opportunity to build a more open, inclusive, and aware future.

NEST: Art, Culture, and Training

To foster cultural and professional growth in the area, Kineton finances, in collaboration with the NEST Foundation, two specialized theatre courses dedicated to young people from the San Giovanni a Teduccio area.

The courses focus on training technical roles, offering participants a concrete opportunity to acquire specific skills essential in the performing arts sector. An initiative that not only provides professional training but has also opened new career opportunities in the theatre world. Many participants have already found employment in prestigious theatres in Naples, such as the Teatro Mercadante, demonstrating the tangible impact of the project.
