Training new highly professional figures in the field of “digital transformation” is the goal of the class intended for managers and professionals interested in understanding how 5G technology can increase and enhance their business.

Enrollment is open, with a deadline of Sept. 15, to give life to the Academy’s new class, which is based at the University Pole in San Giovanni a Teduccio and can count on professors from the Federico II and from national and international universities and research centers, as well as managers from leading companies in the sector.

“The 5G Academy professional looks forward to its second edition through the success of the first, ready to grow further,” says Matteo Lorito, Rector of the University of Naples Federico II. The combination of international and experienced partners demonstrates the quality of the proposed offer. Supporting and strengthening the specialized skills of professionals in the field is an ambitious goal, given the potential of new technologies. Thanks to this path, numerous professionals have refined and expanded their skills, finding new job outlets and opportunities.”

“The 5G Academy Professional Federico II – Nokia- TIM is an extraordinary opportunity of high training offered to professionals and companies that intend to be protagonists of the company’s digital transformation – highlights Marco Ghezzi, Vice President of Nokia Learning. The Academy will also offer the possibility of networking with the community of professionals, companies, academic institutions, and third sector associations, key players in open innovation. The future of the country passes through the 5G revolution, and in Nokia, we strongly believe in the potential of technology to enable a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive world. This is why Nokia Italia enthusiastically participates in the project again this year.”

“TIM’s goal in the 5G Academy Professional is to support digital transformation professionals in their ability to envision the future, providing the tools to face the next challenges,” stresses Andrea Laudadio, Head of TIM Academy. “5G, like any new technology, requires up-to-date skills, and for this reason we have designed a certified training opportunity of the highest quality on the key topics of the current and future scenario, to enable people to contribute to business success.”

The course will begin Sept. 22 and can be attended virtually on the Teams platform with classes every other week in an “intensive” format (8 hours concentrated in two 4-hour sessions to be held on Thursday afternoons, Friday afternoons, or Saturday mornings) for a maximum duration of 6 months.
