The FuSa Cybersecurity area is looking for a Verification Validation (VV) and Cybersecurity Engineer for an important client operating in the Automotive sector, with a particular focus on Infotainment/Connectivity ECUs.
Your opportunity:
You will be responsible for the verification and validation phase of the software of the ECUs distributed on the vehicle and validation in a simulated and/or real environment. The role also involves collaborating with suppliers to agree on test plans and collect related reports, ensuring robust and secure infotainment and connectivity systems.
Key requirements:
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
- 2-3 years of professional experience in automotive projects;
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems;
- In-depth knowledge of automotive bus systems and network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, UDS, TCP, UDP;
- Experience with Canoe/CANalyzer and Automation Desk tools;
- Skills in writing scripts in Python and CAPL;
- Experience in writing functional test cases for automotive using Polarion and performing manual tests;
- Knowledge of handshaking mechanisms and strategies for secure access or FOTA.
Will also be positively evaluated:
- Familiarity with the Android operating system;
- Experience with automotive tools such as Wireshark, OpenVAS, CVE tools, and fuzzing;
- Knowledge of scripting in Bash;
- Understanding of the Automotive ASPICE process, particularly in system requirements and verification phases and related traceability;
- Experience in creating scripts for automated test execution;
- Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., GIT);
- Knowledge of OpenSSL tools for X.509 certificate management, asymmetric/symmetric cryptographic algorithms, MAC, and SHA.
