The Automotivearea is looking for a “Penetration Test Engineer” to expand the team.

Your opportunity:

This key position will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating Assessment and Penetration (VA/PT) tests to ensure the safety and robustness of embedded systems and automotive communication networks.

Activities:

  • Security Assessment: Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in automotive systems, including electronic control units (ECUs), communication buses and other critical components.
  • Systems Penetration: Perform penetration test to test the resilience of automotive systems and networks to external attacks, identifying weaknesses and possible risks.
  • Test Development: Design, develop and implement VA/PT tests specific to automotive systems, including black-box and white-box tests.
  • Cross-FunctionalCollaboration : Work closely with developers, system engineers, and security teams to ensure that fixes and countermeasures are effectively implemented.
  • Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, vulnerability reports, and recommendations for improving system security.
  • Field Security Testing: Participate in field security testing, including road and track testing, to evaluate the behavior of systems under real-world conditions. Threat Update: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats in the automotive industry and related technological developments.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in VA/PT of automotive systems or in the field of IT security.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
  • Experience using testing and vulnerability analysis tools.
  • Programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++) to develop scripts and testing tools.
  • Knowledge of ISO21434 and UNECE R155/156 regulations.
  • Cyber security certifications, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Automotive Security Professional (CASP), will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Orientation towards collaboration and teamwork.
