The thesis aims to develop software applications for the collection and analysis of vehicular data. For this purpose, working closely with our development and validation teams, the candidate will acquire knowledge of the automotive development process (V-Cycle), standards and methodologies such as ASpice and Model-Based Design (MBD) as well as automotive communication protocols. In particular, the candidate will be concentrated on the study of the CAN Bus with a focus on the protocol used for communication, data management, and intelligent nodes. The thesis work will be set in the context of internal technical development projects and will conclude with the development of software for the analysis and saving of data traffic as well as the management of diagnostic services.

Internship main topic:

Design and development of a system for acquiring data from the vehicle network in the automotive sector.

Candidate requirements/Course of study:

Automation and Computer Engineering with good knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
