Test selection and impact analysis methods applied to V&V Powertrain domain

In order to satisfy the needs of its customers in the automotive field, Kineton is pursuing new methods to efficiently catch in time any possible problem during the vehicle development phase. The internship aims to develop automatic methods which will support the evaluation of calibration change’s impacts. To pursue this goal, two steps of growing complexity must be completed:

  • Development of an automatic method to track and highlight the requirement impacted by calibration changes;
  • Expansion of the automatic method’s tracking capability to the model-based ECU SW components, following both top-down (from requirement to implementation) and bottom-up (viceversa) flow, exploiting the Matlab’s libraries or other coding languages (e.g. Python).

Main topic:

Automotive-ECUs Powertrain validation

Course of study and candidate requirements:

The candidate should be attending one of the following courses: Informatic, Automation, Electronic, Electric, Mechatronic Engineering. The candidate must have a good knowledge of Matlab/other coding languages (e.g. Python).

Location: The internship can be carried out from one of the Kineton offices (Torino, Napoli or Reggio Emilia).
