Development and validation of advanced precise point positioning techniques

The activity’s purpose is the SW development of innovative high accuracy GNSS-based navigation strategies for drones or urban air mobility applications by using model-based design approach. The algorithm will exploit the novel precise positioning techniques based on PPP solution and an innovative Kalman filtering architecture integrating the vehicle dynamics. The outcomes will be validated by Hardware In the Loop data and potentially through a real testing campaign embarking the embedded system on a dedicated platform, i.e. drone. The study can benefit from the access to different facilities and datasets made available by different research testing facilities (GNSS ,measurements, total station laser tracking, etc.).
