Advanced LEO PNT for urban applications with Signal of Opportunity

The focus of this thesis is LEO Hybrid Navigation in urban scenarios, so implementation of precise positioning techniques exploiting LEO constellation not dedicated to navigation services. The thesis will consider Signal of Opportunity (SoP) as well as availability of known communication signal reusable for navigation in non-terrestrial network space infrastructures ( i.e. Starlink , 5G , etc.). The thesis will consider Signal of Opportunity (SoP) as well as availability of known communication signal reusable for navigationin non-terrestrial network space infrastructures ( i.e. Starlink , 5G , etc.) . The End 2 End simulator will be developed to enable fast assessment of the navigation performance and foster the rapid prototyping of next generation navigation terminals that can complement or enhance the GNSS with LEO based measurements.
