Meridiani Digitali – Il Mezzogiorno, l’Italia e la sfida della transizione digitale

The Kineton Study Center, a new expression of the engineering company of Campania, organizes an inaugural conference, in phygital mode, in the headquarters of Naples, Wednesday, May 6 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm entitled “Meridiani Digitali“.

The conference, moderated by Piero Marrazzo, Director of the Kineton Study Center, will be attended by: Renato Brunetta, Minister for Public Administration, Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples, Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome, Leoluca Orlando, Mayor of Palermo, Pierpaolo Bombardieri, UIL National Secretary, Vito Grassi, National Vice President of Confindustria, Nicola Farronato, Techstars Acceleration Program Partner, Gian Paolo Manzella, Senior Advisor European Investment Fund, Alessandra Sartore, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Giovanni Fiengo, CEO of Kineton.

The event will focus on the challenge represented by the digital transition. The speakers will discuss the theme: “The challenge that territories, citizens, and the world of work have in front of the massive transitions that technological innovation and digital transformation impose. How to govern and make for the South of the country this challenge an essential opportunity for development, useful to reduce the gap with the North and promote the competitiveness of the Italian system tout court.”.

Participants will share their experiences, skills, and opinions on digital transformation, a very delicate issue, especially because Southern Italy is still in great difficulty. Strong differences are in fact found at the territorial level, with an important digital gap between north and south, widening the already deep fracture between the country.

Comparison and study thanks to the digital transition to try to understand how to project in a perspective of development a territory always characterized by a worrying general backwardness.
